i'm fairly new to lap steel, having played bottleneck for a while. i can find lots of blues cd's with great bottleneck players, but i'm having quite a time finding lap steel players. i've gone through the postings here and have written down players and bands but have been unsuccessful in finding these cd's. the local music retailers in las vegas blow. please help.

Depending on the style of music you're trying to find, I'd suggest a couple of online retailers:
Auntie Maria's Hawaiian Music Island for Hawaiian stuff
Miles of Music for new or alternative country stuff
Collector's Choice Music for older country music
