The back of the speaker should have the brand name. I don't think they are a JBL D/K/E 130. All of those speakers I have owned or seen have aluminum dust covers, although they might have used that type on some, but I have never seen one. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . I think it`s a bass cab.
Maybe a search for Webb bass cabinets might help ? _________________ Olli Haavisto

I have an old Webb extention cabinet that was originally loaded with an Altec/Lansing, but it had been replaced before I got the cabinet. |

Jay,
It looks like those speakers are front-mounted, which means you can see the mounting screws from the front of the cabinet. Lay the speaker on its back and remove the eight screws. Then, you can gently lift the speaker out and look at the back. That's where the ID should be. _________________ 1974 Marlen S-12 1968 Tele 1969 Martin D-35H |

Thanks Glen,
The speakers are about 60 miles away....I was trying to figure out if I wanted to make the trip to check them out.
Webb did bass speakers? I did not know that....

I played with a bass player who had a Webb bass cabinet similar to that one, and it sounded great. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . They appear to be Bigguns...lol
No way to tell without removing them from cabinet.
Not stock JBL D130/D140 that have aluminum dust caps... does it matter - how do they sound? _________________ Steel Guitarist - Retired
