Over the last two years, I am down from 212 to 180. I can now reach the E9th neck....But I still have the same back problems. (my wife thought it was my stomach causing my back problems)so much for that!!!! _________________ Mullen (Black) Pre G-2 9x7, B.L. 705 PUP's, Evans SE 200 Telonics NEO 15-4, BJS Bar, Peterson Strobo Flip, Steelers Choice Seat, Folgers Coffee and Hilton Pedals.

I'm about 20# to heavy around my waist. Otherwise I'm almost, near, close to, err...not perfect. Not that there's anything wrong with that. |

Cheer up fellows fat is not all that bad,I heard
that lots of women find fat men attractive,so why
bother to loose the fat when it works like a
women magnet? |

My frying pan is a good friend. That must be why I'm overweight.
Someone once wrote a book entitled "Weight Loss During Sex": maybe it's time for someone to write a book entitled "Weight Loss from Playing Pedal Steel." Surely, having to move both arms, knees and feet simultaneously must be good exercise.
I'm told that a sign of middle age is evident in what happens when unintentionally caught naked. A teenager will cover his genitals, whereas a middle aged man will cover his tub. It's a sign of getting old when you're more embarrassed about the shape of your body than your private parts. |

That would be me. I gained about 50 lbs. since hurting my back in 2005.
I just tell people that there was this empty space between my belly and the back of the guitar, so I gained the weight to fill that empty space. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Sounds like the old phrase, "if you have a nice set of tools, you want to put a "roof" over them" , applies here..
I got the ,"Mr Smith, you're going to have a change in lifestyle discussion," from my doctor. The words, stroke and heart attack, got my attention. So, now it's fish, chicken, buffalo, vegetables and salads. Apparently, tequila, which is my favorite, is ok and there's still the occasional beer. I can't play my guitars if I'm pushing daisies.... |

I've gotten rather portly over the last 10 years or so. I'm tall so it doesn't look too bad, except when I see myself sideways in a mirror. My health insurance company is "requesting" that I drop 5% of my weight per year until I'm down to where I should be. Since I plan on accompanying my (boy scout) son to Philmont in 2012, I'd better get started now (right after the bowl of chips). |

I quit smoking around 18 years ago and went from 155 to 270. I have lost a few pounds since I cut back on soft drinks and started drinking more water. I always tell my wife that there is more of me to love. I'd love to get down to at least 200.

Hey Tony,
When Cindy and I married, I weighed 157. As I continued to "grow", I told her I would be twice the man she married. Sadly, I made it, topping out at 322 a couple years ago. I've worked on it some, and my weight has plummetted down to 275. Luckily, I feel good, stay active, but I'm sure I'd feel even better with another 50 or so pounds gone.
Hey, I think I still owe you a big cheeseburger, don't I?
See ya soon,
Jim |

Well guys I was 285 last June 2010 and I have dropped to 246 as of today. I have 26 more lbs to drop to my goal weight. Diets do not work for me so I did a life style change. I found out the Blue Bell ice cream was not a main course. _________________ ShowPro SD10, Mullens RP, Bose S1 Pro, GK MB200, MB500, Bugera T50 Tube amp with SlidgeRig, TC HOF reverb effect. |

Everybody is gonna hate me for this.
I guess it's my metabalism or however it's spelled.
I am only 5lbs over what I was when I was 25. I'm 72 now and I eat whatever I want. Just plain lucky in the gene pool. _________________ Bill |
