I acquired a Park G10R guitar amplifier, which was missing the fuse.
I found a schematic online. It reads as follows, for the fuse.
50T 125 mA 250V for SEMKO
50T 160 mA 250V for 220,230,240V
51S 315 mA 250V for 110,115,120V
51S 200 mA 250V for CSA
I’m in Canada, and therefore am using 120V power. In the amp, I propose to use a BEL 3SB 200 mA 250V fuse. Is there a problem with this? |

It's only a problem if it blows
It should have the 51S 315 mA 250V for 110,115,120V which may be a slow blow (51S)....if it is not a tube amp, the 200 mil will probably blow when you power it up. |

I've spent some time playing through the amp (45 minutes?). It is solid state. The fuse didn't blow. It is a slow blow fuse.
The problem in my mind was the difference between the CSA (Canadian Standards Association) rating or 200mA, and the non-CSA rating of 315mA for the same 120V power source.
It seems to me that the 200Ma should blow more quickly than the 315mA, so therefore, I am using the safer fuse, yes? |

I'll agree.
If it lasts enough for the amp to reach operating temp without going bye bye I think you are ok.
