With aluminum necks and lacquer refinish..

Just serviced by Bill Rudolph at Williams in MN. New strings, setup, replaced a knee lever bracket, re-did the rod pulls, set up with a standard Emmons copedent. Everything works like it should and it looks good for a 26 year old.. and sounds like a vintage Sho Bud with the original pickups. The pedal rods also have new 1 inch extensions (regular ones are included). Comes with a spare milled knee lever bracket from Jeff Suratt..

Right front corner had a small body crack starting, but Bill pulled the end off, glued, clamped and shimmed inside to make sure it was solid.. no issues. (he said its a pretty common thing) Tried to show in pictures but it is hard to see.

Case is decent inside, rough outside but works great, all latches work, and I had Bill add wheels and handle that make rolling it around a breeze!

I will sell for $1,975 OBO plus shipping from MN., or will trade toward a Williams S-12 Universal (might consider other single 12's but they need to be fairly new design).

If you need any other pictures, let me know and I will email them..

Thanks!

Thanks Bill!

When someone who can play sits down at this guitar, it sounds amazing. Everything I ever remember from hearing my Dad play when I was growing up. But I also realize my own limitations and proclivities will keep me from being good on two necks, so time for one neck, less pedals and knee levers. Simpler is better for me!

Next time I just hope to learn my lesson before spending too much $. Smile

Hal, Can you send me the S/N and builders name if the tag is still there? I'm updating the spreadsheet. Does there appear to be any modifications?

Thanks

Michael

P.S. This is a beauty! Oh I wish, I wish, ......

The serial number is 18280.. I bought it from the original owner who stated it was a 1985. There is no builder tag I can find. There are no modifications I am aware of except for replacing a knee lever bracket, and the refinish from the black to the current "blond".

That is correct.. I purchased it from Jerry, then drove it up to Bill Rudolph at Williams, who did the necessary work that brought it to the playing condition it is in now..
