Way to go Kevin! Those are some really sweet speakers to carry in stock. Folks, if you have not tried the new EPS-15C, you really should. These are outstanding speakers designed for the steel guitar. Sweet and warm with the best string definition that I have ever heard! I'll always have a couple on hand for my own use. Eminence has got a winner with this one!

Surprised

Curt, if you say it's good that means something here. From what I'm hearing they nailed the JBL sound at 8 pounds. Thanks for the review.

I probably was the first one to mention this speaker on the forum since I was involved with the field testing. I also have one of the SICA speakers but not using it as the Eminence has become my #1 speaker and I'm using it with an MB200 amp.

It's a great light weight replacement for the Peavey 1501-4 speaker that they used in their steel amps. Same way with a Steel King amp.

It would up the output power of some of the Evans amps to full power with one of these too. Some of the SE-200 amps came with 8 ohm speakers but the full 200 watts of power is only available if you have a 4 ohm speaker.

I got mine last week. It sounds great in my session 400. I think I like it more than a 1501 or 1502. It has just the right amount of highs for that amp. Thanks Kevin, it was here in under a week!

Indeed Brett! Eminence designed this speaker specifically for the steel guitar, and in doing so they have done a fantastic job. Rich and full lows, sweet singing highs, and a warm midrange without the honk!
Fabulous sounding steel guitar speaker!

Surprised

I would like to hear more feed back on this speaker, I think the weight loss given with this speaker is worth the trial use of the EPS C eminence.

Okay, I just sold my last one. I have more coming in the week of the 20th, but they are very limited quantities available from now on and maybe a complete unavailability after 60 days because of the rare earth metal supply problem in China. I would suggest that anyone who wants one from me now please do so and I will place you on an order list. Also, after these next ones I cannot promise the same price. Jack, thanks for your order.

Here is the new EPS-15C. I can't believe this is only 7.8 pounds! JBL sound. Clear as a bell. Beautifully designed speaker. Email me for a special Forum price. I just sent one to Dan Dugmore. He's going to be using it on his Master sessions in his Fender Twin Reverb. 300 watts, 4 ohm.
