I had this made for me by a close friend/tech. Its all top notch parts. Here are the specs.
It has heyboer transformers, set up for 120v and 4 ohm only. the chassis is mojo and is chrome plated. the caps are sprague atom and mallory 150's, resistors are all carbon comp, and the the wiring is straight-out old school champ, so the heaters are dc, just like the originals. Lastly, the output jack is a rca Like the original too.It will ship with new tubes that have been used a few hours.

| How did he rectify the heater voltage? It looks to me like the original 5C1 wiring with one side of the 6.3v tap grounded to the chassis, and the other connected to the pilot light, and on to the tubes. |

I don't see a rectifier in there, or a 2x100 ohm mock center tap for that matter.
Was this ever fired up with tubes?
Love the old style power switch on the volume knob

It uses a 5y3 rectifier, and I have used it quite a bit. It sounds great, and runs like a fine tuned machine. If you look at the pic carefully, you will see 3 tube sockets. |

I meant a rectifier for potential DC heaters - unless thats it hiding underneath the pilot light
These are the best sounding amps. Period.

This wiring scheme is 100% original tweed fender champ according to the tech. Its a 5f1 circuit. I can give you Dave C's number, my friend/tech who built it. He can explain it better than Ill ever be able to do it. |

Yeah - it's right. I just looked at the schematic. That's how fender wired the heater on that amp!
