Last night in St. Louis with Nick13 the young hipsters cheered and called my name after steel solos. I had to stand and take a bow after one song, Is the beer here more potent, or what? I signed autographs, and I had my picture taken after the show with two really cute identical twins (and they were girls!).
Almost makes all the rest of the drudgery of being on the road worthwhile... almost. |

Nice pickin' Peter. Where did you play in St. Louis? I'm out just into my 4th week of an 8 week road trip. Played Club Broadway in St. Louis a couple of weeks ago. _________________ www.facebook.com/countrydaveharmonson |

We played The Firebird in St. Louis (and had great BBQ at Smoki O's), Radio Radio in Indianapolis tonight, and The Magic Bag in Detroit tomorrow. How to crank it up in general, especially for solos, is what I set out to learn on this trip. I think I'm getting the hang of it. Just putting that pedal down and going for it, with gusto. |
