Eharp player tries the Dobro/Resonator

I bought a Johnson resonator about 7 years ago and it has mostly just sat so I thought I would give it a try. I put a Lace Sensor pickup on it to see what it would sound like and it sounds pretty good but it loses a lot of the resonator sound. Check out the utube video I have of The Great Speckled Bird and let me know what you think. The tuning is Open E.
