Those 70's Guilds are terrific...I live 10 minutes from the old factory where that one was made,and still have my '73 F50.. you can pinpoint its exact date if you put a dental type mirror in the soundhole and shine a flashlight on it..Guild stamped the date on the upside,somewhere around the perimeter of the soundhole... this is more accurate than dating by serial number... _________________ https://www.reverbnation.com/bigredandtheresonators |

The east coast made Guild guitars were fantastic.. and the F50 was the top of the line.. abalone, mother of pearl and they were players guitars.
