I haven't logged in here in ages. My life took a dramatic turn since the passing of my father in March of last year. I gave up music and sold every last stitch of gear I owned mainly because I couldn't find any decent employment and brother's gotta eat. Since then I started a new career as a professional driver and have spent the last 6 months traversing the entire country on 18 wheels. Admittedly, I stopped in Nashville a couple weeks ago and that visit has me wanting to pick a little again. Over the next several months I will re-establish a pile of good music gear and hopefully be able to play a little gig once in a while.
I just wanted to say hello friends, I haven't and will never forget youin's.

Man I'm glad to hear you're OK. Wondered if you fell off the face of the earth or not. I was really disappointed that you quit music. As an old phart I still maintain you had one of the best touches and tone to the bone I've ever heard for as short a time as you were working the steel guitar. Stay in touch and for heaven's sake get back at playing steel guitar, (leave the lead at home). lol

Hey Jim, I still bear the scar from Denny's that faithful night that the waitress stabbed me.
Those were the days.
Glad your doing well, keep in touch Jim. _________________ Email: azpedalman@gmail.com

Jimbo,it was great seeing you in Dallas! Glad things are finally turning your way. Get yourself a steel and get back to pickin',it is the greatest therapy in the world. If you ever get in the area of Lancaster ,Ohio(about 25 miles south of Columbus)give me a holler,I'm sure we could talk Mike Sigler into a little jammin! Take care buddy and God Bless you!

Hey Jimbo, steel guitar time yet? You can't stay away! I took a break for 3 years one time. Of course, that was after playing 6 nights a week and being at work the next morning at 6:00am. Add to that 4 girlfriends plus the ex! No wonder the grey showed up. 54 now and feeling every year! Last Rains I had was a great one. Come on! You can't stay away! Take care buddy! |
