Well I finally got my 1967 Fender Bassman amp back after 5 years and a lot of legal wrangling that appears to be finally over.
Tne power transformer needs replaced. Several years ago a source for the transformer was mentioned in a thread.
If anyone knows of a good source for the replacement xformer please let me know. I'm happier than a pig in a pen that I got the amp back, and I want to get it up and running again,
Also, the chromed J plate for the left side of the head is missing. It's the bracket that attaches the head to the speaker cabinet and gets clamped by the knurled head bolt. If anyone knows of a source fot this too I would appreciate your recommendations.

PS: That amp sure hasn't gotten any lighter over the years...

Allen amps have there own brand of trannies that are made to David Allen's standards. They make great amps.
