thanks for posting the video. I installed that pickup into an old Epiphone Century lap steel last year. the sound is wonderful.
I am so glad that you demonstrated the hum, that I experience too, by taking your hands off the lap steel. for a whole year I assumed I goofed when I installed the pickup; I had been thinking there was an improper ground.
