Anyone picking in Salem, Portland, or parts between this weekend (July 6-7)? I'm in town (Salem), and would like to try to take the wife out and hear some pickin'.

Too bad you won't be here Sunday afternoon. They're throwing a benefit for a local steel picker, Harley James, at Jubitz Ponderosa Lounge. It will be an afternoon of steel guitar by various local luminaries.

It's from 1-6pm
Jubitz is in North Portland, at 10350 N Vancouver Way
