The Michigan Steel Guitar Association will be hosting our annual Steel Guitar show on July 17th at the Harrison Moose Lodge in Harrison, Michigan.

We have great line up again this year of some of the nations finest artists, as well as a fantastic back up band, and we are really looking forward to this show.

For more information on this event, send me an email, or call 989-539-7808 or Marilyn at: 989-366-0005.

Gary, I would like to meet you for lunch but I don't come through Columbus. I go up I-75 through Dayton and so on. Thanks for asking.

Mike, I would like to buy your lunch, but I am financially embarrassed. Maybe next time. Of course, since you are a famous steel guitarist with unlimited funds, maybe you should buy mine! The way gas prices are, I may be dieting on this trip after I fill the tank. A little humor!

Not to worry guys. You both have more than enough dedicated fans here that they would be more than happy to buy you breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day you're here, and will be wearing a smile of satisfaction and graciousness the whole time. Self included! Not a task or burdon, but rather an honor!

I understand that Rusty Rhodes is also on the show again this year which is a great addition as Rusty is a great player. I am looking forward to being there again as this should be another great show with Danny Hullihen running it.

I have the date marked. I must say that the show last year was absolutely stellar; all the musicians on the program were excellent and aside from a slight delay in the beginning it went off without a hitch. Danny and his crew are to be commended for an excellent production.

Bev I had a great time at the show last year and wish we could make it this year. Unfortunatly we can't make it because I'm playing bass on the Wheeling Jamboree the night before.

I'm sorry to hear you can't make it back this year Alan. We all sure enjoyed the show you and Bev did, and we hope you can make it to our next show.

Best of luck to you and Bev on the Wheeling Jamboree.

That's great news Mike! You can bet I'll be buying them, and no doubt, so will many others. Be sure to bring plenty with you. No doubt you'll have a sell out on them here!

Mike, I'm afraid Regina would be "clueless" on the "keyless" guitar. Laughing
Question: how do you know what "key" your in on a "keyless" guitar? Or does that fall under "clueless" too? Laughing

Great song Mike! Save this one for the super jam, that way you can watch as you burn us all down trying to keep with you! As a test of your true abilities though, I'm going to have Regina install a set of strings on your guitar during this performance. Laughing Hey... you've got to play fair now and give us guys a decent chance. Very Happy
