Barry Scott has tabbed out the "Bad Weather" solo from a live bootleg recording HERE.
The following is a transcription of the solo as performed on the Poco studio album "From The Inside."
AUDIO added 6/6/11.

Thanks for the bump Steve, I must have missed this from 09. One of my favorites, especially the original by Illinois Speed Press (Paul Cotton and Kal David) Rusty's steel just adds to it. |

Frank, if you are still here, thank you for posting this. My favorite steel solo of all time!
Those open string licks just kill me. I knew what they were right when I heard them back in 1971, long before I knew anything about playing steel. (I actually tried to play them on slide guitar---NOPE). It is SO great to finally see how it was done. Now I appreciate Rusty's brilliance even more. |

Dang right I'm still here! Rusty really has a distinctive sound and approach to E9 doesn't he? |

Frank I agree, Rusty playing has such feeling, technique and soul. I would like to see you take on Rusty break on Magnolia by Poco. Your tab work has
really been a great help to me. Thanks for your effort to help on a very difficult instrument to learn! Joey _________________ EMMONS / ZUM / DERBY / EMCI / MARLEN / MARRS |
