Hello everyone!

I'd like to try something new outside of the C6/A6/E13 realm so I started thinking of steel players with a unique style and sound that I dig. Nels Cline of Wilco/Nels cline Singers was the first to come to mind. However there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information concerning his steel playing.

Anyone know what tunings he uses? I had heard somewhere that he uses open G.

Thanks for any info!

-Chase

P.S. Hope everyone is doing well and feelin good!

He tunes to open G, but you can play what he plays in any tuning. You don't have to be limited by any tuning, as long as the essential intervals are there.
