Another very historic ZB guitar. SD11 4+6 Serial #672. This is the Rick Nelson guitar. Has a plaque on front "custom designed and built for Tom Brumley by ZB Guitar Company 6-7-72. Used with Rick Nelson on "Garden Party", played at Madison Square Garden, and "Live at the Troubadour" in Los Angeles. 8.5K-12K-19K. Price is $8000.00.

I pastor a musical church on sundays,our service
is music only, I cannot think of a better place
to play a steel of this caliber,however to rich
for my blood,but it does not hurt to look.

I think this guitar was for sale in Austin at Ray Hennigs store some where around '89 or so, for $1200. If I would have had the money then, it would be mine. I asked Tom about that guitar a few years ago, and he told me that he got it back. It would sure be a treasure. "Together Again" with Tom, hooked me on steel guitar. |

There is a video posted in the Steel on the Web section, of Tom playing this guitar with Rick Nelson doing "One Night Stand". You can see AND hear what this guitar is like in the master's hands. I had the pleasure of getting to play this guitar about a year ago and its a real sweetheart. If I had the money this one would find a new home with me!!!
