hi all,

anyone know of a music store where i can buy a stevens bar and an under the string capo in
between lake tahoe, CA and berkeley?

Hey Peter. You should be able to find these items at the "5th String" in Berkeley. Give Sacramento a try first. Long drive to Berkeley !

I'd suggest a Shubb SP-2 bar. It's a little more comfortable, has a rounded tip, and is much more receptive to reverse slants. (Disclaimer: though get no compensation for the sale of this item, I was inovolved in its design). Shubb also makes a dobro capo that I contributed some ideas to that is very good, as far as capos go. (I need all my notes; I can't be hiding some of them.) Check out www.shubb.com Maybe you can email them for a list of who might carry both. Not too many stores carry them, but they can all get them thru regular distribution channels. Nicholson's Music in Folsom is another possibility.
