Bobby says that everyone is invited, whether you jam or not.....

Hey Everybody!

Check it out! We are having a HUGE JAM SESSION, in honor of,
BOBBY BOWMAN'S 75th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!
Yes, the old fart is turning 75. All he wants is a big jam. So, it will be done.

WHERE- "Cypress Saloon" 12710 Telge Rd. Cypress,TX 77429 281-304-7777

WHEN- Sunday May 22nd from 2:00pm til 2:00am

So spread the word. Let's make it a day to remember. Or as Bobby always says................."Let's Pick!'
Please Pass This Around

For those of you that can't be at the jam in person, please send your responses to the email address below and they will be read to Bobby in a roast format. Remember, anything goes so be creative.

Thanks for posting this Tony.
Everybody's invited to come on out and join the celebration and/or the jam and bring friends if you like,,,or if you can't come and want to "roast" me with an Email, here's your chance.
Because this is a night club, the management has requested "no children". However, there is a side of the club that can and will be opened to the outside and I think it's OK to have children out there. I'll double check to be sure and repost if children are not allowed insiide or outside.
There is a nice resturant connected to the club and they will be open till at least 6pm or later if need be.
It might be a good idea to bring along a chair or two.
Come on out if you can, join the jam, join the fun or both.
Thanks and God bless,
BB

I'm going to try my best to come out and celebrate with Bobby. He has always been great to me and has helped in any way possible with my Steels and learning the instrument. A great guy and a great technician!

Can't make the jam, but best birthday wishes to the man who plays the most beautiful rendition of "Last Letter" ever played. One of my most favorite smooth steelers.

Many Happy Returns, my friend. I am so proud of your sincere friendship you have bestowed upon me. Wish I could be there to help you over the 75th as I am an expert on doing that already. Seems like a "blink of an eye" doesn't it? Wish you all the best. Keep your thumb pick hot.

Bobby, wishing you the best of birthdays. Wish I could be there. Do you remember who it was, back around 58 that used chains for rods on his steel. I can't remember his name. I'll be 74 in Oct.

Bobby,

I'm sorry I can't make it. I injured my back about 2 weeks ago and I'm still down. I'm trying hard to be well enough to make the Katy meeting, but right now I'm not doing real great. Have fun and enjoy your birthday party.

Randy

Sorry to hear you down with your back!
No good for a steel player to have any kind of back problem.
