This MSA was completed in July of 1975 & shipped to a man named Wayne Cox. It was originally a double 12 with 8 pedals & 5 knee levers.

It's a lacquered curly maple with an inlay around the perimiter of the neck and face. I inherited this pedal steel from my Uncle who passed 5-6 years ago. I thought he bought it new but apparently not, I presume he purchased from the original owner Mr. Cox.

It was converted to a single neck 12 and now has 6 foot pedals and a pad where the second neck would have been. Other than a very few minor scratches on the polished aluminum foot pedal bar, it's beautiful, no bar dings or other signs of damage.
I do not play the pedal steel, if I were a younger man I'd probably learn to play it.

I had it priced at $1,500.00 FIRM not including shipping, now lowered to $1350.00 FIRM. If your anywhere near Kalamazoo, MI, I might be able to meet you halfway. It is heavy and would probably not be cheap to ship. Also, I drive semi part time and travel through Indiana, Ohio, and over to Detroit every week. I could meet someone along the way & do away with shipping altogether.

I'm usually gone Monday through Thursday every week, if you have questions my cell is 269-655-6823. I'm not sure why but I can't download pictues to the post, plenty of photo's are available, just send me your e-mail address and I'll send them to you.
Go to "MSA 12, Curly Maple" posted by me on the topic Pedal Steel's to see a few pictures, still don't know why I can't get them to come up here.
