i have an older msa s10 with the old rack and barrel changer. for those of you who might know or remember, the barrels have slots for the changer fingers to slip through. it appears that these slots are of different lengths on different barrels. need help determining which barrels to use. the rack has 40 holes, 10 rows, by 4 deep. currently guitar only has two pedals, plan to add a third. i've pretty much had to rebuild this guitar. somebody please help an old guy out. any input would be appreciated.thanks mark[/list] |

The barrells should all be the same length. I am presently restoring a 1977 MSA and got parts from Tommy Bradshaw. For MSA parts Tommy is the guy to go to. He can get you whatever you need.
bradshaw is in Concord, CA. _________________ Carter D12, MSA S12, 12 String Custom Made Non-Pedal, Evans FET 500LV, Evans SE200, Peavey Nashville 400, Fender Steel King |

I don't thank MSA ever made a Rack & Barrel steel. I am not sure, but the barrel, you are talking about may be the aluminun tube spacer that goes on the rods at back of changer to extend the Nylon nuts through the holes in end plate, so tunning wrench will reach them. Here is a picture of one off a MSA Classic. It is 1 1/2 inches long. Hope this might help, Jim
