I am refurbishing a 1976 MSA S-10 and Need one standard size scoping leg with original style nut. If you have one or more and wish to sell contact me mchild@gt.rr.com or phone 409-886-1348. Thanks

Hey, Doug:
If you can't find any original legs, and can't figure what to do, let me tell you what happened with my '79 MSA U-12. Basically each collar/leg became stripped. I mean, I tried everything to keep them tight - switching, padding with tape. No good, of course.
Then DeWitt (or Scotty), who told me he couldn't do much about replacing essentially glorified mic stands, suggested I seek out a guy who builds steels a couple hours East of me. I contacted Don, who gave me measuring instructions for new legs; I instead figured I'd just go out to him with my steel. Don was great, and I ended up with a whole new set of legs made, reasonably priced, and then shipped to my home.

Thanks Daniel. I have another resource I am working with at the moment. If it doesn't work out I'll get back to you. I appreciate your help.
