Goin' to Kansas City, Kansas City here I come!!!! Join us in Kansas City for the annual Heartland Steel Guitar Association festival. The 2-day event will be Aug 6th and Aug 7th at the newly remodeled Holiday Inn Norheast in Kansas City, Missouri. The Holiday Inn Northeast is located on Interstate 435 across from Worlds of Fun. All events will be held in their Ballroom and rooms and a restaurant are available.

The Saturday Show will start at 10:00am and end at 7:00pm.
On Sunday August 7th from 9:00am to 9:45am we will hold a Worship Service lead by Carl Butler. The Sunday Show will begin at 10:15pm and will go until around 5:00pm

We will have the Middle Creek Opry's "GREAT" band for our back-up band. It's the same band that we had at the steel show in Louisburg, Kansas last year and are one of the top bands in the country. Playing in the festival will be Steel Guitars, lead Guitars, Keyboard, Drums, Bass, Singers and more. Everyone welcome to come. Some of the best country musicians in Kansas City area and from around the mid west will be here.The Festival is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Hey Hank, congratulations to all of you at the Heartland Steel Guitar Association.
These shows are a lot of fun and draw so many players and enthusiast together.
I know it will be a goodern from the fine folks you have there putting it together. I'll be watching from afar. Very Happy Very Happy

If and it is a big IF I can make it - the table would be for the whole thing for sure.

Denise is having a hip replaced in June so we simply have to see how she is donig. They say 6 weeks to 3 months - since she is young they think (but have no idea) that it will be closer to the 6 weeks to 2 months.

We will just have to wait and see ---
