May 15th is date for the next Rhode Island Steel Guitar Association meeting. It's been awile since I've seen you all. I have been practicing "Crazy" on the C6 like I said I would. Don't have the slightest idea what I am doing with that tuning, but I love the sounds you can get from it! Thank God for Tab! Let's start a little chatter here!!

Thanks for the reminder Pete!

Looks like Jake and I will be there. Think this character will?

See y'all there, but I'll probably see several of you at MASSBASH in Pittsfield tomorrow.

Really looking forward to next meeting !! Plans for next Sept steel show will be made !! Also we all know what a beautiful 33 string pedal steel Manny the "Machinist" made !! Well, this old geezer AKA "the hacksaw hacker" just finished making up my new Custom = (home-made) 7 string Fry-Pan =(cooking pan)& 2 X 4 pine plank lap steel !! Manny uses tolerances of 1000th of a inch , my tolerances are 1/4 in.!! Made with Epiphone hot humbucker pkups that really scream !! I'm challenging Manny to see whose steel screams the loudest !! This will all happen at the next meeting if Manny dares to show up !! See you all there for the showdown !! "the old geezer" AKA Eddie "C" AKA "the hacksaw hacker"

Are you forgetting about the time your chair fell apart and you hit the floor? I am warning you. If I get overshadowed by a splintery plank/ rusty old pan homemade steel, I will incite a "chain saw massacre" against against the "hack saw hacker".

Hi Eddie, If the RISGA members are going to see the "cooking pan/2x4 pine plank lap steel" for the first time, why not have an unveiling ceremony, If it is as unique as it appears, we could enjoy the moment of anticipation when you pull off a concealing cover. I can bring a bottle of champagne.

Manny , If you do show up for the "unveiling" of my Super "cooking pot/frypan steel" you will be amazed !! And I did buy a real fancy = (expensive) carry case for my "custom made" lap Frypan steel !!I'm looking forward to sipping that " rare & expensive" bottle of "white lightning" champagne !! I am also especially inviting those two beautiful gals , your Daughter & Sister to the unveiling party !! I'll need them to dance the hula when I do my Hawaiian music !! See you on the 15th of May !!! Eddie "C" AKA "the old geezer" AKA "the hacksaw hacker" !!!

Hey RISGA

Let's do a tribute to the Great Ralph Mooney at the meeting. Bring your best Mooney Licks and work up a version of Crazy Arms to share. Buck, Waylon, Winn - they are all welcome!

Who else will be there? Maybe these guys?

Hey Jim,
I'd be cautious about letting that guy with the helicopter hat in, better check him for any hacksaw blades at the door (the other guy is o.k.)

By the way.... Nice guitar Chuck.
