Sad to report our club drummer (and my band member) Karl Congdon's wife, Shirley, passed away last night after a long battle with COPD.
There will not be a service but I will send a condolence card from the club. |

Assuming no blowouts or other foolishness, the Manasota contingent will be there. Now I need to go practice! _________________ 2022 Brook Lyn, 2014 Martin 000-18, 2022 Ibanez GB-10, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, understanding wife of 49 years. 'Steeless' at the moment |

Karl Congdon called and will be at the jam this month. I wasn't sure if he would make it with his loss last week.
Bernie Waldon should also be back. He has been on an emergency trip to Indianapolis because of some family members medical problems. I called Indianapolis this morning and his daughter said they left yesterday for Florida and they should be back this afternoon.
Cal Akers says he will be there. I think we hooked him last month, getting a chance to pick lead. |
