Wow!! Ron, you hit the nail on the head!! These pictures tell a wonderful story!! I thought every player, (except me), did a wonderful job! The sound in that building was amazing because I thought that all the steels were coming through the PA system, but they weren't! Each amp filled the air with surround sound. It was good!!! The bass sounded so clean and mean....drums set the timing just right....and the piano had a beautiful tone that complimented every song and the lead guitar blended in with a nice crisp sound that was pleasant to listen to! You can almost hear it all through these pictures! Thanks Bill, for all the hard work putting these on!! But Venda said that every player looked so serious and intent. But believe me, boys, it wasn't bad at all. It was GOOD! _________________ Jerry and Venda |

If Bobby Garrett ever decides on selling his guitar, I would like to be first in line. I remember how that guitar sounded when Buck Grantham owned it. Sorry I could not make it to this great show. The flooding on Bull Shoals Lake caused me to have to get a 5th wheel camper out of danger. Where the trailer was, is now under more than 20 feet of water. People said Swan Creek got so high you could see under it. Don't know about that, but I did see 100 foot trees washing down Swan Creek. The old house I used to own in downtown Branson had about 8 feet of water in it. |

Thanks to all the members of the Siloam Club for inviting me to play again this year. This is a great hospitable, friendly, hard working group of people
All the ladies who prepared and served all the great food all weekend long, went above and beyond what any should expect them to do. They worked from opening to closing of each show at the food tables.
Turkey,dressing,Pecan pies---you name it...They Had It. |
