I've often wondered who the 'Butterball' was that ET would refer to wnen he took a ride..Anyone here that can tell me??

Papa Joe, that is Tommy "Butterball" Paige ET is referring to. Unless it was around Thanksgiving, then it is likely it was Tom "Butterball" Turkey. It does get confusing.

Hi Andy,

Detroit resident Gary "Fat Man" McKinney played at the 2nd Sacred Steel Convention in Sanford, FL (2001). I had seen his name on the advance registration list, so was anxious to meet a man with such a moniker. Much to my surprise he was about 20 years old and weighed maybe 120 pounds!
