I'm in total agreement. There are a lot of talented acts out there that love a chance at some exposure. Dottie Jack, The Jazzibillies, Nick Nixon, Norville Dollar, ME, Amber Martin, Earl Wear, Keegan Boone,Danny Batty and Josey Milner. Just to name a few. This is some great talent but won't ever get heard, because no ones ever heard of them---catch 22??? _________________ Custom Rittenberry SD10

Bill,
I hear what you are saying, The artist on the Tru-Country show are recording at the Heart of Texas Music in Brady,Tx.
Heather is putting this togather with Heart of Texas Music. It is to promote the music as well as the studio.
Refer those people to that studio and I fell sure if they are recorded there they too can be be a part of Tru-Country.
If I had the bucks thats where I'd be for sure.
Dottie Jack has been on that show.

Curtis, I've had a CD with Heart of Texas for quiet some time. It has never been promoted. It's not the greatest CD out there but I've heard worst come out of thier stable. Don't get me wrong I love Tracy Pitcock for what he has done for country music and I will always consider him a friend, but he is just one person. It seems the deeper you get,the more political it gets.
Heres a sample of my CD if it works.

Bill,
Your track is surely better than a lot I hear playing on Willie's Place, it very good. Have you sent a copy to Dallas Wayne for play on XM radio?
Did you record as a musician or a singer with HOT?
Have you contacted the Tru-Country show producer and requested to be featured on the next avaliable taping?
I know most people involved with the program and I don't beleive politics is a major concern.
Is your CD available on HOT website?
Best of luck and keep it country.

I did not see Ms Leslie or Ricky Davis listed, I hope they will be a part of this show, they were my favorites. Shorty |

Hi Bill, now that is great. Much better than some of
other stuff we hear on RFD for sure. How about more.
Wish we could have got together at Mt. Vernon.

They taped shows on Friday night also. Rickey and Miss Leslie were on that one I think. Also Johnny Rodriques was on Friday says my buddy Bode Barker. Also Bode will be doing some songs off his new cd on the new shows whenever they air on Tru Country.
Bill Dobkins "For a Minute There" sounds great. I'll have a talk with Tracy and Justin _________________ GFI D10-8/6 Black/Red

Ricky, I want to let you know I always love to hear your playing on True Country. Just to let you know--I am a big fan of your steel guitar playing. |
