This past Friday night my wife and I attended the musical play "Ride with Bob" in San Antonio at the Majestic Theater. For those who might not be familar with the play, it is about Bob Will's life with music provide by Asleep at the Wheel..augmented with some other musical guests, singers, actors and dancers. What a great show...and the Majestic Theater...Wow, what a great venue.
As always, ASAW's music was superb. My first time hearing Eddie Rivers. Eddie, if you read this...I thoroughly enjoyed your playing, and appreciate the effort you made being true to the original playing.
Great production...I throughly recommend it to all (well, at least to deserving Western Swing fans).

I would love to see that show. Asleep at the Wheel is a musical gem.
