What a marvelous piece of music. The energy exhibited by the rhythm section gets your attention and doesn't let it go.

This tune is best listened to at medium volume with a good set of near field speakers/cabinets.

I would have liked have been an in the room spectator when that tune was built.

I always loved his Nobody but Me album. I haven't thought about him in years. Thanks for the reminder.

Gary and I did a twin guitar/steel thing on that song when I worked for him. He liked the harmony picking on some songs, on others I'd lay out.

Nice work Emmett. I'm gonna keep an eye out for one of Gary's concerts if he comes around New England.

He seldom leaves Texas, but you never know. During my time with him we played a private party in Kentucky and one in Washington D.C., but the rest of the time we played dance halls, festivals and the big bars in our home state (that one with the lone star on its flag). Wink
