I would say you've made wonderful progress Paul. Playing an instrument, especially pedal steel, with its special demands must be theraputic. Best of luck to you going forward. |

My wife works in the health care field .... "brain injury rehab" ..... and I will show her your post later . No doubt she'll be as happy as I am in your progress . I believe you've been given a great gift , with your drive to regain your health , life and loves .
Wishing you continued success !
And don't worry about your spelling & speech so much .... have you seen some of the posts from "healthy" forum members ?
Just sorry that you've had to deal with this in the first place . _________________ EQUIPMENT:

Hello Paul,
welcome back from the other side! Your steel guitar mates applaud you and I'm sure we all wish you well. As was mentioned earlier, playing the psg has got to be good for your recovery!
Well done!
God bless at Easter.

Hi Stuart.bill.bob.George,
I find my self very luckey realy when you hear about the ones that lost the use of arm's and leg's
ok I carnt talk or hold a confortaion for long or answer the phone, I find to hard to read emails ect..I look up most of the words I carnt spell on the internet before I put them down..
but I have got both arm's and leg's and I can teach my self all I need to know,
The PSG is theraputic ( when things right )

Paul,
I'm sorry to hear about your stroke, but glad to hear that you are getting better.
I went through that in 2005, but it appears that yours was much worse than mine. I am pretty well back to 100% now with very few resitual effects. Playing the steel seemed to help things improve in a timely manner.
I hope you recover as quickly as I did. _________________ Jack Shults

Hi Paul, I'm sorry to hear about your stroke. But it does sound like your limbs are fully useable. It must have been great to discover that at least. The writing is coming back by the looks of it. Practice your steel- the best therapy in the world!
Did you make use of that pickup I sent you? I hope it sounds ok
Speedy recovery my friend
