After 28 years as a high school English teacher, I am taking early retirement (HURRAY!). I am in the process of changing my Email address, so I'll update Bob and the Steel Guitar Forum as soon as I get a new address. I hope all of you enjoy the summer; I know that I will.

Early is right! What are you, 50? Man, do I feel old now.

Congratulations, Chuck. We all hope to hear a lot more music from you, now that you have time on your hands.

Congratulations Chuck, I agree with everyone, you are a young looking man. As good as you play now how good can you get with time to practice a lot. I appreciate the lessons you posted a while back on C6, it probably helped me with my lap playing more than any thing else I've studied.

Chuck,

Congratulations, amigo! It is so great to hear this wonderful news. You will love it. It has now been five years for me. Susan is also retiring from teaching next month so the two of you can congratulate each other when we see you at the ISGC in St. Louis.

Again the best of everything that this world has to offer plus many years of happy steel picking.

CONGRATULATIONS CHUCK!!!
ENGLISH TEACHER!!
I BET YOU HAVE A REAL HEADACHE WHEN YOU SEE ALL OF MY BAD SPELLING AND GRAMER ON THESE FORUM THREADS. I would love to do the same but I do not have the retirement income to keep up my lifestyle. I still like to eat something every day or two.

Congratulations, Chuck, on your retirement. I've done it twice. But I think the last one (Nov 05)was actually the last. Have time now to do some "Picking", walk the dogs or what ever I want to do. Anyway I certainly hope you enjoy it as much as I am enjoying mine.
