I want to say a sincere thank you to the OSGA for a super show this weekend. It was an honor to have a small part in it. I wish you continued success, and with the fine members you have, I know you will.
A special thanks to Marty Neer. Marty was a big help. Thanks so much, friend.[This message was edited by Michael McGee on 28 May 2006 at 10:12 PM.] |

Mike, You are absolutely right. It was a fantastic show. I must say that I really enjoyed your set and I would not be able to mention all the names, but everyone did a great job and added their special talents to a great show. Marty and the entire Oklahoma team were doing a supurb job of keeping the show running smoothly. Thanks for letting me have a small part in it as well. Of course, Dwayne just about stole the whole show with his vocals as well as talented guitar playing. What a great time of fellowship and music we all enjoyed. Hope to see you all soon. God Bless.

Hey Mike!, You did a great job this year, as usual. It was a pleasure to have you down here in our country. I'll see you in your country in about 5 months.

I personally thanked the backup band individually this weekend, but I need to publicly acknowledge how wonderfully they played and how HARD they work for all the steel guitarists. Paul, Roy, Dewayne, Larry, Bob, Buck - thank you so much!
Wayne, Jim, Buck - thanks so much for your kind words and support. I'm humbled.
Roy, my sincere thanks to you. I have to borrow the line that my buddy Howard Tate uses - "If you steal my licks, they couldn't even convict you of petty larceny"!
Just know that I'll play with you any time, anywhere - they won't have to ask me twice! I hope that it's SOON, friend. |
