These tracks feature real instruments played by live humans. You get to be the only lead instrument with a band that doesn't speed up or slow down, and will play the same song over and over. The songs are:
Step Aside
My Shoes Keep Walking Back to You
Wishful Thinking
Burn the Honky Tonk Down
Blueberry Hill
Marie Marie
Snowflake Reel (fiddle tune)
He'll Have to Go
I Never Go Around Mirrors
Working Man's Blues
Hello Walls
Close Up the Honky Tonks

The price for Vol. IV is $25.00. The nonvocal version is $10.00, or $5.00 when ordered with the vocal version. PayPal accepted, and shipping is included.
Vol. I, II, and III are still available.

After workin' with these new tracks from
Steve for a couple weeks, I can say this
is another great set of tunes with a few
nice surprises along the way.
Compared with his previous CD's, this new
set is the usual high-quality musicianship.
Tracks like this are invaluable when taking
licks or news ideas that you've just learned,
and practicing how to phrase them and work
them into the context of a tune, before ya
get on the bandstand.
Steve, thanks for taking on the task.

These new tracks are excellent, as are vol 1,2,and 3.
An absolute MUST HAVE for all steel players. Many thanks Steve for my copy. It was great seeing you again in Dallas. |

Some shuffles, a couple of Cajun style, a stroll, a TexMex ballad, a fiddle tune, 2 beat country and a rocker to close out the set-what more could you want? Real instruments played by real musicians? You got all that right here. It's like playing a set with a band that wants you to have ALL the fills, intros, and solos. |

Real bass, real drums, real guitar, all played by real people in a real studio. Real vocals, too-just like a real band. |

Steve,
Is Working Man's Blues done in the key of A? Also, how much for the vocal version of all 4 CD's?
Thanks,

I just got my Texas Dance Hall Classics practice tracks and they are very good to practice with.
The quality of these tracks and particularly the vocals make them way above others I have worked with for practicing Pedal Steel.
I recommend them highly !
