That's a really nice one Mitch! Very Happy I re-furbished one of those for Derrick Mau a few years ago.

Indeed ! I've been looking for one of these for quite awhile, and this one is in great condition... now have to sell a one or two vintage Gibsons which this replaces...

That's a beautiful D-6 Mitch! The white tolex case with red/orange lining would be late 1962-1965. It's a real sweet guitar. I hope you keep it, play it, and don't sell it! Winking

Very sweet. Does it sound like a Stringmaster?

Chris, I think 3 times asking you was enough ? Wink

..and yes, it does indeed sound like a Stringmaster..it essentially IS one with 2 less strings per neck ?

Mark,

There's one for sale in Greenville, it's as clean as this lovely guitar, not mine though. Let me know if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with the guy.

Happy hunting Dennis ! It took me nearly 2 years to find this one...but they're out there ... 1 went on eBAY for $1900 !! a couple months ago... too rich for my blood, but I WAS awefully tempted considering they just don't come up all that ofter.

Good luck...If I come across one, I'll let you know...this one's being burried with me !
