Jamie was in town playing for his fiance` Georgette Jones last Saturday night and what a great player he is! He was up in the mix like it should be and sounded great!! Playing his Franklin D-10 through a Walker Stereo Steel amp & it cut through like a knife! He nailed the signature licks when Georgette did a few of her mom's songs. He really smoked it on all the fast stuff and did some very soulful/tasteful playing on the slow ones!
Even more important than his great playing, Jamie is a super nice guy! I got to visit with him before & after the show and he showed me his steel rig. It was a joy talkin' shop with him and I look forward to the next time they are in town!

| I had hoped to make it that way and meet Jamie, but was over ruled. Not a big fan of Tracey Byrd, but was suprised he wasn't on the list. Has he quit? I know he sold his bus. |

I heard Tracy is taking a break. I did hear he had sold his bus so I guess it will be a pretty long break. I don't know any other details.

Hey Sidney, thanks for your kinds comments.
It was a cool show and we really enjoyed it.
It was nice to chat with you and your family, you are great people.
It was nice that Georgette got to catch up with all her family too, fun all round.

| I saw Jamie Lennon playing Rick Price's lacquer Emmons on True Country backing up Georgette Jones and he sounded great. Georgette sounded great too! Its good to see real C&W music on TV. RFD has some cool music shows. |
