Yo, just changed the chips to my N112 that Ken Fox mailed me, WHAT ON EARTH HAPPEN, it's no longer the same old N112. It's out of this world, sounds like a different amp now, my Boss DD-3 sounds the way a delay should sound like, awesome.
If you don't have Ken's chips installed, send for a set, you'll be knocked out from the new improved sound, very sweet indeed.
Thanks a million Ken.

Hey, same for me. Dennis Wireman and I installed Fox chips in my 112&NV400 Friday. I can't put it into words. How can this little mod make such a difference! Thank you Ken Fox...MD |

How much for this mod and can you do it yourself? What comes with the mod as far as parts, etc.
I'm no electronics wiz but I've done over 20 years of mechanical maintenance so the taking apart and putting together shouldn't be much of a problem, just don't want to short anything out.
Anybody have an email for Ken? Maybe you could message it to me.
Thanks,
Keith |

Keith,
Go Here http://foxvintageamps.com
The kits are available at very reasonable prices. Complete instruction are included.
Like you, I'm no electronics tech, but I had zero trouble following the instructions and installing the kit.
Excellent results too _________________ David Collins

If you can change a light bulb, you can change these chips. Piece of cake, and Ken is tops to deal with. |

Thanks for all the positive feedback. We keep finding more amps these work in very well. Just sent out one for a LA400. We added the Special 130 to the kits available onsite as well. Same kit works for LA400, Bandit 50 or 65 and Special 150.
The same chips were used for years in many Peavey amps. This new chip seems to help them all so far. |

Ken, they work great on the late 90's Bandits too!(Black panel). Takes some of the edge off the clean channel, and I think the reverb is a little sweeter. I don't think a Bandit will ever be a NV112, but the Sho-Bud sounds pretty good through it! |
