I need 10 roundhead nickel or chrome plated screws for a project body I'm finishing. They need to be small diameter like pickguard screws, 3/8" or longer. Everything I see on Ebay and Stewmac are flathead.
thanks, Ron

Ron,
There is a site on the internet called "Small Parts.com", or something like that and when I can't find what I'm looking for anyplace else, they seem to have it.

I looked in my collection and all I found were black round heads in that size. Try the big hardware store on Rt. 22 in Somerville. They have a good selection of screws.

You won't find chrome or nickle, but you should be able to find some #4 x 1/2" stainless steel oval head screws at any of the big box home centers. If you want, stainless can be polished to a chrome like level.

Guitar Center sells the Fender pickguard mounting screws. Those are not flat, they slightly rounded.

another source for stainless screws is West Marine, although a bit pricey. But they got it all.
