I don't know about now, but in the past, they had several. JayDee Maness, Tommy Spurlock, John Noreen, and Gary Morse.

i maybe wrong but i dont think jd played with highway 101..i know jd played with desret rose band

THE TIME PERIOD I WAS TALKING ABOUT WAS THE SONG WALKING TALKING CRYING BEARLY BEATIN BROKEN HEART.THE STEEL INTRO AND LEAD IS GREAT, I HAVE THE CD BUT CAN'T FIND IT ON YOU TUBE.WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF IT ?? OH YEA THAT GAL CAN REALLY SING TOO.

The album this was on, "Paint the Town," lists Steve Fischel and Greg Leisz as the steelers.

Another album was BING,BAME BOOM, lots of steel, I own the cassette, I'm wearing it on in my van.
"The Blame" is one of their songs, in fact David Hartly does this song on youtube, with his Rains D-10.

Okay, this should end the guesswork. One of my friends from the original band has informed me that Tommy Spurlock played steel on "Walkin', Talkin, - - - ".

AMG lists both Tommy Spurlock and Buddy Emmons on Bing Bang Boom.

"The Blame" sure sounds like Buddy to me.
