Hello, I need help from all you pedal steelers out there. I recently purchased a 1976 Sho-Bud built Fender Dual Neck, I don't know the exact model number. I am 6'4" and need longer rods. I called David Jackson and he told me the following instructions, Let me know if I am right.
1. Set the guitar up to my desired height without the Pedal Bar.
2. Set the pedal bar up at where it needs to be for optimum playing postion. Place a magazine under the pedals to set them in optimum playing position.
3. Measure from the Pedal Ball to the hole on the puller.
4. Cut your rod to 1/4" shorter than the above length.
5. Put your connectors on and Play!!

Let me know if this right guys!
Thanks,
Doug in El Paso
