My wife and I are counting the days before we leave. I am a student of the instrument. I don't know much but basic pedals and am slowly learning the knees. Are the wives going to be around so I could bring mine? We would come sooner but we need to be here for Easter as I am the Senior Pastor. But we will be dowm there about 3wks for vacation. Thanks again. Looking forward to meeting all of you fine gentlemen. If anyone wants to call me, email me and I will give my cell number. Bob |

Hi Bob I told you about going to the Out doors mans club right on 11W the main road threw Kingsport. Mike Archer will be playing Steel Guitar in the band with Jack Willis on Fiddle and a great bunch of guys and a great place to dance. Anna and I use to go there when we lived in Mooresburg TN 50 miles south east of Kingsport. Matter of fact I had my Appendix taken out at the Kingsport Hospital back in 2004.I will see you at the Steel Guitar Jam if they have it when you are down there. I will be coming from Willow Spring N.C..They are a great bunch of guys and they will treat you like a brother.Mike Archer,Tony Dingus and Bryan Adams are good friends of mine and you can't find any better.I just remembered I met Doc Hope when I ran the First Steel Guitar Jam in Greenville back in 2003 0r 2004 and he is a great guy.I have all the Pictures of that Steel Jam that Anna took. You will enjoy one of the best times of your life there. I will keep a watch on the forum to hear your report on your trip to Kingsport. They have some great Restraunts there also and great music. One more thing Bob when you get off the first Exit which is 11W follow 11W about 3 to four miles and keep your eye open on your left you will see the Out Doors Mans Club it has a Pipe gate on the side of the parking lot. You will see a tall Iron tower and it is just past the out doors man club. When Anna and I go to Tennessee we always go to see Mike and the guys in the Band. Just trying to give you some ideas of where you are going.
