I just picked up an Oahu tonemaster on ebay and the pots are completely trashed. I was getting ready to replace them when I noticed that only a single wire was coming out of the pickup. I don't see a ground wire coming from the pickup, only a green wire connected to the input lug of the first pot. Am I missing something? Included are the obligatory blurry iPhone photos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like they are achieving ground continuity via the mounting plate.

Actually where the live wire from the pickup is soldered to the input lug of the pot, it looks like the lug was bent up and partially soldered to the coverplate. Would that still work to achieve ground?
