I bought Buddy Miller's new "Majestic Silver Strings" album a couple days ago -- highly recommended! It features some soulful pedal steel playing by Greg Leisz. This clip is a fragment of the steel break from a lovely rendition of Lefty Frizzell's "That's the Way Love Goes", sung by Shawn Colvin:

Do you think the high notes that begin about halfway through the clip are harmonics? I think they must be, but I can't tell for sure.

Thanks,
John

Yes, they sure sound like harmonics to me. Greg does a lot of that kind of thing... and it always sounds great.

Thanks, Tucker. I guess I've got some practicing to do on my harmonics . . .
