Just got my copy of the new "Staring At The Moon" CD. I know others have already posted some discussion about this fantastic new Texas Two Steppin' CD. This is a Hot CD, if you like Texas Shuffles look no further this is it! The vocals and playing are superb!

The vocals and arrangements remind me of the recordings of Ray Price and Johnny Bush. The steel guitar playing and tone of Keith Hilton's Zum steel sounds great! Keith has done is homework, his playing reflects the influence of his heroes Jimmy Day, Lloyd Green and Buddy Emmons.

When you hear these songs, they are back to back shuffles, each has a unique sound, and you will want to grab your gal and get her out on the dance hall floor.

You will really enjoy this great cd! As they say here in the Ozarks, "It's evident that these guys weren't left out behind the barndoor when they were passin' out talent!' In other words, you will hear some knocked out pickin'!

Great job my friend Keith, Terry Bethel, Gary Atkinson, Wade Landry.

GOD bless ya'll!

Nothing beats a good shuffle! I LOVE good ol' Texas music. I'm going to have to get my hands on a copy. Here's a bump for pure, classic, the-way-the-good-Lord-intended, country music.
