Ron Elliott's "Just As I Am"

I thought for sure I posted this on Steel players.

I just orderd Ron's sound tracks, and tab book for "Just As I Am". Ron just through in the CD free of charge. Now that's what I call a great guy! And there are some of the purtiest Gospel songs on this CD, and Ron's playing is awesome. I've had the cassett of these songs for several years, but just couldn't figure out certain chords and phrases. Now I have the tab book so I don't have to guess about the chords and phrases anymore. And it's great to have the back-up tracks to play with. If you like great Gospel steel playing, then I recomend Ron's courses. Thanks again Ron.

I met Ron at the last Gulfport show. I believe this was the first time he had played here. I found Ron to be one of the most sincere persons that I have ever met after seeing his performance. He was presented the American flag for his sincere appreciation of his Country and fellowman. I tried to steer him to a good restaurant, but I think Bill Stafford had him spoiled already with home cooking. Ron, if you come down here again, please contact me and I'll show my appreciation for your talent by buying lunch at that restaurant. Please hold me to that.
