Just wondering what jack you have to unplug so the battery won't drain when not in use?? |

BUT . . .
. . . I've left mine plugged in for MONTHS and the battery still had plenty of juice. It doesn't drain the 9V very fast. It's a great no-nonsense pedal for the price. Pot lasts a long time (my original one is about ten years old); battery life is GREAT; doesn't cost an arm and a leg. _________________ Larry Bell - email: larry@larrybell.org - gigs - Home Page

yeah...best pedal out there. i don't worry about unplugging and batteries last years. course i don't usually stay plugged in for more than a gig.
way better than having to find another outlet to plug a stupid power supply into.....hey, whatever. |

I think they are. They still have a sting and a pot though. The circuitry allows the pedal to be more "forgiving" with pots. Mine came with a 10k pot but word on the street is you can use 10k or 500k with no adverse effect.
They have a preamp in them very similar if not exactly like a Machbox less the knob(s).
As others have said the battery life is great. Mine takes one 9 volt.
Mine has served me well for many years. I'd buy a new one tomorrow.

Thankyou justin, i really appreciate the input there, i was wondering what it was all about. I'm going to have to buy another hilton pedal for home just because the rope/pot thing has put me under a few times, and i had a bad run of goodrich pots back then, i lost faith. It sounds like the new one is very, very good especially with the battery, i know the string ill get me eventually. ![Crying or Very sad](images/smiles/icon_cry.gif) _________________ A.K.A Chappy. |
