I’m trying to sell a couple of single neck guitars to buy a D-10 and am testing the waters. I will not be back in the USA until early June but would like to know if there is any interest in these two guitars.

This is an Excel built in 2000 was previously owned by Doug Seymour, the only owner prior to me. Hekept this black mica steel in excellent shape. The pickup is a Bill Lawrence 710. It weighs 25 lbs. and the case weighs only 13 lbs more. Case also in excellent condittion with some tears on the vinyl covering but structurally sound.

Will have it tuned back to E9th or keep it at C6th. This was originally tuned to E9th. Glad to answer any questions. Please let me know if you are interested. I’m not asking for a commitment to purchase now unless you want one. I'm trying to find out if anybody is interested though, so if you are please get in touch. I am going to have this guitar gone over by a well-known qualified pedal steel tech near Minneapolis in June to guarantee it plays well. Will send more photos if you wish. Asking $1775 plus shipping /insurance in the lower 48 states. Will ship overseas. There should be five photos, including underside photos. If they do not come in, RELOAD and try again. Otherwise email me and I will send them to you if you give me your address. Thanks, stevet

Man!

This is probably THE best deal that I have seen on this forum in my 11 years here. Why it is still for sale is beyond me!!!

It is very, very hard to find a better engineered guitar, IMHO.

At the asking price, this should have been gone minutes after posting. It just goes to show you the economic situation that we live in.

For those of you who may question the allen head tuning screws, you can change them with ones that have fingertip heads in minutes!

Steve is all class and a great guy to deal with.

Man, if I had the money......................

Hi, Larry, I just answered your most recent email. Looks like we have a deal.

Curt thank you too for embellishing the truth somewhat, not about the EXCEL, but about me. Smile
Thanks, stevet

Larry, No rush; anytime next week will do. The approximate shipping costs would be great but I won't know the actual shipping costs until I'm back in the USA and have packed the Excel well.
Really appreciate the sale so thanks, stevet
