Just wanted to give you all another look at the craftsmanship of James Morehead on a refurbed roundfront. Clean as a whistle. Plays sweet, sounds sweet.
ADDED 2/23/11: Just to clarify, I did not purchase this guitar directly from James, nor did I direct him to do the refurb. He was good enough to direct me to someone who had what I was looking for. The work he performed on this guitar was done years ago for another person.

James sure has purty stuff Makes me wish I still had my "Bud" to send him. Heck, I may just mount one of his knee levers to my Carter just to look at. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Frank, Thanx for the kindness. I'm so proud you are getting along with your new guitar, that's awesome. Holler if I can help you with adjustment, ect. And thanx guys for the kind words--it's a labor of love for these old guitars and a real mission to make them as nice as they can be. _________________ "Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement"~old cowboy proverb.

Beautiful instrument, gorgeous polish work, and I'll bet it plays like a dream.
James is the real deal.

Here's a couple from the topside - looks like he went over the cabinet with a Zamboni. James, you rock!

Thanx for the kind words Frank. That guitar of yours sounds better than it looks, too. You got a real keeper there, my friend!! _________________ "Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement"~old cowboy proverb.

I'd love to hear that guitar sing-you should upload a sound clip!
How DOES he get it so shiny! This is a work of art-very impressive. Makes me want to invest in a second PSG! _________________ Lamar S-10, Goodrich L10K VP, Carvin Vintage 16 all-tube amp, John Pearse Cryogenic steel tone bar, John Pearse strings. |
