Bought this a few months ago from Jim Palascar at Steel Guitars of North County. It is in very good shape and has the original case and leg pouch (shows its age but no problems). 3 + 2. Everything works well. As you can see the guitar is very clean (just look at the rollers -- I spent an hour cleaning every part with q-tips) and (at least to me) has a terrific vibe. I got so into this that I just bought a new Rains Hartley 5 + 5 so this one needs to find a good home.
$1595 and I'll include shipping. (Does not include original Sho-Bud volume but would sell it for $175 if you really want it). I can accept PayPal. Call or email with questions. John Seitz. 862-268-1682.
I was told I needed pictures of right end and under-carriage. Here you go.

For what its worth I just got a call from a non-member in South Carolina who saw this post and the pictures and says the guitar is a 1968 and that the rod and barrel changers were some of the best Sho-bud did and that this one was in outstanding condition. Thanks for looking. _________________ guitar player attempting to learn psg (God help me) www.johnseitz.com

These singleneck Professionals are a real sleeper and are truly tone monsters. These guitars are easy to upgrade and put all the changes you want, unless you are a jazz player(Then you may be limited). The racks are easy to make quiet, and play softly.
This guitar is priced very very right. _________________ "Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement"~old cowboy proverb.

It's a Model 6139, pre Pro 1, unoffically known as a single neck Professional. Later than '68 though, since it has the metal changer surround, and the pedals are located more to the left.
Early '70s...what's the serial number?
Very cool gtr. |

Thanks Charlie -- great doing business with you. I'm up in Sparta -- north and west. Deer, bear, and the occasional guitar player. _________________ guitar player attempting to learn psg (God help me) www.johnseitz.com
